Last night we were
On a plane
To a place that asks nothing of us
And you looked at me from two rows ahead
With eyes that spoke of what was never said

And the minute that I saw
Your eyes, they became a picture screen
I swore I felt the past in my hands
Like I could control the beating heart
Of a boy who was never even mine
To control

And in the dream we came together
Chaos in the colors and
The saliva, the
But I woke up to a 7:01 alarm
And a foggy haze outside
And felt utterly disappointed and heartbroken
And wronged.
