trickle
plop
wash bubbles with rosy, translucent film
oceans of glasses
canoes in shiny toilet bowls
a whirlpool of song, sap, clouds
lakes of fruit soup
or snowy springs that gush
urine against asphalt
sprinklers swishing heat waves
gargling blue chemicals
the precipitation
that pours out of plastic crevices
slightly stale.

desolate rivers
under my kitchen sink
sprinkle of drano
kills all creatures
a leaky pipe
a sneaky flood
all in a flash
gone
drip. drip. drip.
